The most critical vitamin in the process of hoof growth and regeneration is Biotin, this supplement is a member of the B vitamin family. It is a water soluble vitamin, which means it gets fed daily. While it’s plentiful in good grass/legume mixtures, it is otherwise poorly available from food sources, and regular supplementation is recommended. By adding in this supplement t a daily feed regime it will help prevent conditions such as dry and brittle hooves and will help improve conditions already present.
