Product Description

Tempest Plus 200g Stable Rug

Overview

Keep your horse warm, comfortable, and secure indoors with the Tempest Plus 200g Stable Rug. Designed for stable use during colder months, this rug delivers reliable warmth without unnecessary bulk. As a result, your horse stays cosy overnight or during box rest.

Built with durability in mind, it handles daily stable wear with ease. Therefore, you can rely on it throughout winter. While turnout rugs protect outdoors, this stable rug focuses on breathable warmth and dependable indoor comfort.

Benefits

Cold temperatures inside the stable can affect your horse’s comfort. However, this rug provides balanced 200g insulation that supports natural body heat. The quilted fill traps warmth evenly, so your horse remains relaxed and content.

In addition, the tough 1200 denier ripstop outer resists tears and scuffs from stable walls. Therefore, it stands up to everyday use without compromising comfort. The secure blanket set chest fastenings prevent slipping, while adjustable cross surcingles ensure a snug fit.

Key benefits include:

• 200g fill for medium winter warmth
• Durable 1200D ripstop outer
• Breathable design for indoor comfort
• Secure chest fastenings
• Adjustable fit for stability

Because it combines strength with value, it offers practical winter protection at an affordable price.

How It Works / Directions

The strong ripstop outer protects against stable wear. Meanwhile, the 200g fill distributes warmth across the body evenly. The design allows natural movement while maintaining insulation.

To use:

• Place rug evenly over the back
• Fasten blanket set chest closures
• Adjust cross surcingles for comfort
• Attach fillet string at the rear
• Check fit daily to ensure balance

When fitted correctly, the rug remains secure and comfortable overnight.

Safety

Always select the correct size to prevent rubbing. In addition, inspect straps and stitching regularly for wear. Air the rug frequently to maintain freshness and hygiene. Therefore, you extend both comfort and durability.

Shires designs Tempest rugs for dependable performance and excellent value. Owners trust their quality for consistent winter care.
