Benefits

Wet coats lead to chills and extra grooming time. However, this rug repels rain efficiently, so you reduce drying time after turnout. Consequently, your horse stays comfortable and ready for work.

Because the fabric blocks water while allowing airflow, it balances protection and breathability. Also, the lightweight structure prevents pressure points. Therefore, you can use it during mild, wet weather without overheating concerns.

Key benefits include:

• Waterproof protection during light to moderate rain

• Lightweight feel for comfort and mobility

• Breathable fabric to reduce heat buildup

• Helps keep coats clean and dry

• Ideal for layering in transitional seasons

How It Works / Directions

The rug uses a waterproof outer layer to repel rain on contact. Therefore, moisture beads and runs off instead of soaking through.

Directions for Use:

• Place the rug evenly over your horse’s back

• Secure the front chest fastenings

• Fasten cross surcingles under the belly

• Attach leg straps for added stability

• Check fit regularly, especially after turnout

When fitted correctly, the rug should sit smoothly across the shoulders. In addition, adjust straps to allow natural movement.

Safety

Horse safety always comes first. While the rug offers durable waterproof protection, inspect it daily for wear. However, remove it immediately if rubbing occurs.

The materials undergo quality testing for strength and performance. Nevertheless, ensure proper sizing to prevent slipping or pressure points.
