TopSpec Stud Feed Balancer

TopSpec Stud Feed Balancer

Designed for broodmares, youngstock and stallions.

It is a very palatable, high protein, cereal-grain-free, low sugar and starch, ‘Non-Heating’ concentrated feed that contains a multi-supplement including the levels of micronutrients and digestive aids normally only found in high quality specialised supplements. When Stud Feed Balancer is fed there is, therefore, usually no need to add any further supplements, other than a nutraceutical joint supplement if required.

The low sugar and starch formula will promote superb muscle and also skeletal development, without providing the excess calories which can result in overtopping.

Stud Feed Balancer additionally improves the amount of nutrients a horse can extract from his total diet because of its superb specification. This means that breeding stock can receive optimum nutrition from reduced levels of hard feed, with many resulting benefits.

Further Key Nutritional Facts:-

General

• An effective way to optimise digestive efficiency, and feed economy, for most horses.
• A fully comprehensive range of the micronutrients needed to balance feed and improve its utilisation, even in demanding situations.
• High quality protein and intracellular soya oil, but cereal-grain-free and only low levels of sugar and starch to support correct musculo-skeletal development.
• Powerful levels of vitamin E and selenium to act as antioxidants, and support fertility and muscle function.
• Constructive levels of amino acids, complex carbohydrates, and antioxidants to help maintain healthy joints.
• Raised levels of copper, zinc, B vitamins and associated nutrients to support healthy haemoglobin levels in blood.
• High levels of vitamin A, C, D and E plus pure, protected yeast, MOS (mannan oligosaccharides) and Omega-3 fatty acids which help to maintain a healthy immune system.
• Generous levels of B vitamins to help maintain healthy and efficient energy metabolism, vital for horses with compromised hindgut function.
• The level of biotin (15mg/500kg horse/day) that is scientifically proven to improve hoof quality, plus the levels of methionine, cysteine, lysine, calcium, zinc, copper, iodine, vitamin A and soya oil known to improve the efficiency of biotin alone. Certain of these nutrients will also help to maintain a supple skin and promote an exceptionally shiny coat.
•  A pure, protected probiotic yeast and prebiotic MOS to create a healthy gut environment and optimise fibre digestibility. The combined effect of these two yeast products is a healthy gut environment with optimised digestive efficiency, i.e. horses gain much more benefit from their diet.
• Organic chelated minerals for improved availability

Broodmares

•    Helps to maintain a healthy appetite.

•    Aids in maintaining broodmare body condition whilst lactating.

Foals and Youngstock</strong>

This balancer is very palatable, and beneficial for foals from three weeks of age. Younger foals may safely nibble their dam’s Stud Feed Balancer but until they are three weeks of age, they will not benefit fully from it as their digestive systems will not be mature enough to digest it efficiently.

• All the micronutrient requirements of the in-utero foal are met, helping the foal to meet its maximum potential at birth.
• Effective levels of protein, vitamins, minerals, and trace elements to support the correct development and maintenance of bone.
• Helps to maintain healthy, even growth rates in youngstock.

Stallions

• Aids in maintaining healthy fertility and condition; especially useful during the covering season.
