Furthermore, its appealing muesli texture can encourage appetite and consistent intake. It comes in a convenient 20kg bag and is also available in cube form. In addition, explore our horse feed range for complementary feeding options.

Benefits

Simply Natural Mix provides steady, controlled energy for horses that do not need a high-energy cereal feed. As a result, it suits horses in light to moderate work, including those that can become excitable or sensitive when fed richer concentrates.

The high level of digestible fibre helps provide useful energy while supporting a balanced feeding programme. Moreover, added oil contributes calories for maintaining condition and supports a healthy-looking coat. The recipe also helps maintain topline without unnecessarily increasing starch intake.

Furthermore, the mix contains essential vitamins, minerals and trace elements to complement the horse’s daily ration. Meanwhile, the palatable muesli format can make feeding more appealing for horses that are selective or have a variable appetite.

Features & Materials

The cereal-free and molasses-free recipe uses fibre-rich ingredients instead of whole cereals. Alfalfa and grass pellets provide digestible fibre, while sunflower meal supplies protein. In addition, linseed and soya oil contribute valuable oil to the formulation.

The recipe contains approximately 11% protein, 6% oil, 18% fibre and less than 10% starch, with a typical digestible energy value of around 11 MJ/kg. Moreover, it includes vitamins A, D3, E, biotin and B-complex vitamins, alongside calcium, magnesium and phosphorus.

How It Works / Care / Safety

Feed between 0.5kg and 1kg per 100kg bodyweight daily, depending on workload and condition. For example, a 500kg horse may receive approximately 2.5–5kg per day. Divide the daily amount between two or three meals wherever possible.

Furthermore, provide good-quality forage and constant access to clean, fresh water. Introduce Simply Natural Mix gradually over five to seven days when changing feeds. However, individual requirements vary, so adjust the quantity according to body condition, workload and the rest of the diet.

For horses with specific health or nutritional requirements, seek advice from your veterinary surgeon or qualified equine nutritionist.

Care instructions: Store in a cool, dry place away from moisture and pests. Keep the bag securely closed between feeds.
