Baileys Ease & Excel No.21

Product Description

Baileys Ease & Excel No.21-SUITABLE FOR EQUINES PRONE TO GASTRIC ULCERS AS PART OF A BALANCED DIET

Suitable for equines prone to gastric ulcers as part of a balanced diet.

Baileys Ease & Excel promotes weight gain, condition maintenance, and performance in horses and ponies needing a low starch diet. Its high fibre content includes superfibres that are highly digestible and provide slow release energy. These fibre sources are rich in soluble fibre, including pectin. In acidic stomach conditions, pectin changes structure to resemble mucus. This helps bind to and thicken the stomach mucosa, protecting it from acid attack.

The feed contains no cereal flakes, ensuring a very low starch content. This makes it ideal for stressy or excitable horses. It is also suitable for horses with clinical low starch requirements, including those prone to gastric ulcers. Outshine is included to provide slow release calories from soya and linseed oils. Alfalfa chaff encourages chewing and has natural acid-buffering properties.

Baileys Ease & Excel is fully balanced with vitamins and chelated minerals. It contains high levels of antioxidants, including vitamins C, E, and selenium. These support muscle function, performance, and immunity. The bespoke Protexin In-Feed Formula includes natural antacids to buffer excess stomach acid. It also contains ingredients to soothe and protect the gut lining. Prebiotics and probiotics support healthy gut microflora and improve digestive efficiency. This is especially important when forage intake may be limited.
