Shires Comfort Grazing Muzzle

The Shires Comfort Grazing Muzzle by Shires Equestrian is a practical solution for controlled or restricted feeding regimes and special diets. Designed for comfort and functionality, it has been upgraded to improve wearability for horses of all sizes. Cut back under the chin to avoid unnecessary pressure, this muzzle features padded areas to protect delicate noses and chins. Moreover, fully adjustable head and throat straps with field-safe fastenings ensure a secure fit, while the D-ring allows safe leading. Because of its thoughtful design, it supports healthy grazing habits without compromising comfort or safety.

Comfortable Grazing Muzzle for Controlled Feeding

Managing a horse’s diet is easier with a well-designed grazing muzzle. Therefore, the Shires Comfort Grazing Muzzle allows horses to graze safely while limiting intake. The padded nose and chin areas reduce rubbing and irritation, making the muzzle suitable for prolonged wear.

Moreover, the adjustable straps provide a secure, customizable fit, ensuring the muzzle stays in place during daily turnout. Because of this ergonomic design, horses can move naturally while still benefiting from a restricted feeding system. At the same time, the D-ring allows safe handling and leading when needed.

Durable Design with Rubber Base and Nylon Webbing

This muzzle combines strength, comfort, and ventilation for everyday use. Consequently, the reinforced nylon web bars allow free airflow, while the rubber base features a hole that lets grass enter for controlled grazing. The cut-back design reduces pressure under the chin and prevents rubbing.
