Product Description

Carr Day & Martin Cornucrescine Hoof Barrier

Carr Day & Martin Cornucrescine Hoof Barrier

The Cornucrescine Hoof Barrier by Carr Day & Martin has been trusted by horse owners for over a century. Using modern technology and research, this advanced formulation nourishes and protects the hoof. Protecting hooves from environmental conditions is essential to maintain their health and strength.

This product is Step 3 of the Cornucrescine 3-step system for total hoof care. It strengthens and supports hoof structure, helping improve overall health and shoe retention. The barrier creates a ‘one-way’ shield that protects against excessive absorption of water and urine. It waterproofs the hoof while allowing it to breathe naturally. Additionally, antibacterial agents guard against infection, making it ideal for soft, crumbly, or fragile hooves. This makes it perfect for daily use.

Application

1. Ensure the hoof is clean, dry, and free from oils or grease.

2. Apply the barrier with the internal brush to the hoof wall below the coronet band. You can also apply to the sole and frog if desired.

3. Use daily, ideally before exposure to wet or muddy conditions.

The product dries in minutes and leaves a clear, non-sticky finish. For damaged or weak hooves, it can be used alongside Cornucrescine Original Hoof Ointment to accelerate growth and aid restructuring.

Carr Day & Martin offer a wide range of hoof care products, all designed to promote strong and healthy hooves. Our store carries the full Cornucrescine range, so you can create a complete hoof care routine for your horse.
